12.2.20

December is here! Loving the freshness that a new month brings, especially a merry and bright month!

Thankful this week for :

Health. As you read last week it has been a little rocky over here, health wise- but all the praise hands for some crazy self control and an insane amount of fruits and veggies! ( I do want a burger soon though please) My mother in law, the queen of all things health, shared a book from the 60s - called Back to Eden. Reading about natural remedies has been fascinating and also so eye opening! The author speaks to the unhealthy lifestyle that a city provides and we surely agree. Farm life here we come ;) Jill you ready for new neighbors? :)

Family. Although the holidays look different, we are enjoying being able to celebrate more special days with our Hebert side.

The easiest and yummiest Thanksgiving meal. 5/5 stars for the Wigwam's Thanksgiving Buffet. I think we need a pianist playing for us during our meals on the daily. So relaxing!

Christmas Card sales... and super fast printing! Highly rec Simply to Impress for Christmas cards!

Our online work gig. Every.single.day we snuggle our kids and try to snuggle Big H.... but he is more into  wrestling or Hey mom lets grab some sour patch watermelon stage :) Either way.... you get me... we are home... there is no crazy commute... and Lulu gets crazy beauty sleep. Such a dream.

Crossfit. The kids have dabbled in it. Matt has too. And now we all enjoy die doing it. It is really intense and so crazy focused & super humbling .

Scripture. Matt has had a couple speaking gigs this week and it always blesses me when he studies for the sermons and then talks through the topic through the week. Walking in the Word is a good place to be.

Here are some memories from the week

We did the Turkey Day 5K! The kids have never walked, jogged that far ever! Go little Heberts Go!
The diva got her hair did. And she let it stay did. Go Lulu!

Hooray! A Hebert Grandkid pic!

After our delish buffet on Turkey day, we explored the resort. So festive!

Coulda stayed in this room all day.

Although Matt & I had planned to be away in IL for a weekend getaway for my cousin's sons wedding, we stayed local and had a daycation. After hitting a few outdoor shops, we were famished from fasting and thought our fave sushi spot would be good. WRONG. But this picture was sure on point. The after math- was a migraine for Matt and hives for me, so  I think we are sticking to fruits and veggies for quite a bit longer!?
Sorry for topless guys, BUT I need this memory forever. Hudson's smile should say it all... Matt invited him to a cozy popsicle in bed date since Hannah was sleeping over my inlaws & he proclaimed it was the best night of his life. The next day he was retelling it to Hannah and he sighed at the end and said I know, I am so lucky. Oh Hudson, we are the lucky ones. XO
Wedding Zoom style! No clue how she handled such a crazy turn of events but look at this stunning couple... all the hearts...

Annnnd the juicing saga begins!

And we end this post with some couch snuggles... with the youngest and oldest... as we enjoy The Star.. those camels tho.. we also have enjoyed Right Now Media and the incredible resources available on there, especially Max Lucado's Because of Bethlehem and Lee Strobel's Case for Christmas
XO

  1. I'll take you as my country-living, garden-eating neighbors any day! ❤️ Praying that switch (which is crazy hard) continues to help you though.
I am loving Lulu's festive outfits, your exercising fam jam, beautiful Thanksgiving spot, and Hudson's complete sweetness. Don't you love how it's truly the simple things that mean the most? Love it.
