Grandpa Ray surprised us for Christmas, so fun! So we needed a last minute Bass Pro shop stop for some perfect Grandpa gifts! And of course our kids were dreaming of all things outdoorsy!

 Some of the best gifts are those handmade school ones  and this year's is no different! ♡

 Hudson's dream of a dog & my impromptu Target run, with this amazing Melissa and Doug Dalmatian just looking at me as I entered, made for the best surprise! His name is Max. Hudson told him last night to stop peeing on the carpet & used his nose to help find lost Legos. Loving this imagination stage!

 Because like the Grinch reminds us... Christmas doesn't come from a store, but as a mom, I can't stop buying!?! #retailtherapy And this girl just dreams of LOL all day every day...

 It was a BEAST to set up. Grandpa Ray and Dad did it ALL!!
I would give this 5 star ratings, after it gets assembled!
The quality is legit. The moving truck is ADORABLE and has all the room's furniture packed up. Hannah loved unpacking it all! The working lights? The flushing toilet? The pool and sandbox? Hours of fun will be had for many years!

 Trying to stay awake and watch a movie to keep Hudson out of their room during dollhouse time... had us both snuggled and snoozing!

Thankful for Monday field trips! Made for a great start of this last week before break! 

 Thankful that on most days, Matt beats me home, and can play with the kiddos solo for a bit! Hudson's big gift was this cool Nerf go cart, and he was dying to ride it outdoors!

 Meanwhile, my commute was just too good! The sun and those rays. I just had to stop!

 The cemetery on my way home, is home to a herd of deer and it is so picturesque watching them eat!

 Move over Bill Nye the Science Guy! Hannah is here and is into all things Science in a very big way! New slime ingredients, made for Monday Messes!

Thankful for Scholastic's generosity! A team of teachers were able to gain access to My Very Own Library Grant- and hosted a book fair- for FREE! Each student got 3 books, and this will happen two more times this year! Incredible!

 Thankful for Buffalo Wild Wings .... on Tuesdays when Matt is at PGM, suppers get lonely- but Bdubs always refreshes!

 Thankful for this cute pic of Hannah's sweet class at their field trip! Poor thing hated the show, and I had the same memories from my grade school play of A Christmas Carol- but loved the bus ride and home lunch :)

Thankful that on early release days for our kid's district, they can come all day with me! All three, all day, normally is hectic- but knowing we had a concert that night had them on really good behavior! 😍

 It was a mad dash home from work, to get ready and then dash out again an hour away, but we made it just before the doors opened to get seats, and we thankfully got amazing ( for us) seats! No row was in front of us, so we could get up as we needed ( which was often ( shaking my head)). Although it was Christian music, the instrumentals were LOUD & Hudson even with ear plugs needed a few breaks.

 Glad they amped it up at the end, because I was exhausted..! But Joy will wake anyone up!

 Thankful for Matt's craving of Indian food on Saturday and their amazing wall paper!

 We love the city!

 After Indian food we need to satisfy our sweet tooth. Dylan's Candy Bar!

 With a full Sunday, there was just a small window of afternoon time... perfect for a playdate!

 Arriving early to church meant we got in on the sugary goodness of cookie decorating! Yum!
