thankful that hannah overcame her public speaking fear....all she remembers is her teary poem in 1st grade and was dreading show and tell, poor chica. So in true momma bear fashion I might have texted the teacher!? Who was so kind in providing an opt out for her... but Hannah ended up doing it and was so proud of herself

Back to School 2018

Thankful for a fun soccer team for Harrison and Matt.
Hannah's 1st practice was rained out, but we are hopeful she has a great team too!

New to us, as Matt coaches, is no man left behind, so this sweet boy joined our crew while his mom finished work!
 thankful for beautiful friends
 thankful for lifetimes yummy lunches

thankful for lifetime accommodating Hudson in his swim class

 mind blown on this cereal.
but here is my reality... zucchini and egg whites... it was really good but no denying my real cravings were for Crunch Berries!
thankful for being apart of our awesome district's 1sts! this is the 1st year of all day kindergarten. this is also the 1st year of meet of the kindergarten teacher. both totally needed! much love Palos 118!
crazy crazy thankful that hudsons bestie Cooper is in the same class and the year away did nothing to come between them.... some friendships are just too special...
thankful for the day at the air and water show!

thankful for a patient mimi who loves help and for a sweet daughter who just can't get enough of gardening!
thankful for matt being in town for a few weeks! and look close, our friend Sonora is with them too! Too much fun in one van!
thankful for the sweetest and most  hands on teacher for hudson. loved this "ready confetti" idea!

We all have been eagerly awaiting school here again.
It was awesome yet scary to have 2 self dressers - I still LOVE outfit planning!  But somehow let go of that rein today. Both Matt and I have this week off, so the kids going was DEF bittersweet, maybe more sweet than bitter? Gotta be real. The house was cleaned in a fury, the laundry never done so fast and I walked into Bath and Body Works *Gasp* Kid FREE... WHAT!? and the Gym. Also kidfree.
It was time guys it was time 😂

Harrison : 8th Grade

 Hannah: 3rd grade

Hudson: Gen Ed Kindergarten, full day, with a 60 minute a day SpEd time

Yes we are literally a block from he and hannah's school but all Kindergarten students get free bus, so we said great!

Matt was still at school  dropping off Hannah when Hudson rolled in! Hooray!
I love the seesaw app! All the hype now in schools apparently (I better jump on board too then!)
thankful for the tasty little bakery by our gym, that I knew would have trendy back to school treats. the cake pops are actually donut pops...i know... genius...

Thankful for such happy joyful kids after school! I loved hearing all the stories...and wanted to bottle it all up.. from Hannah skipping off the bus, to Harrison being so excited at the welcome back vibe from his buddies and sweet teachers... to Hudson's claim that they made guns today (!!??)... no doubt rough days may come... but the initial week is off an awesome start!

And this momma is praising Jesus for some regular bedtimes! 7:30 the process / grumbling / begging starts! But night  2 is behind us and they seem to love hearing from good ole Max McLean and his ESV Psalms. I love it too & it seems like the perfect way to start those sweet dreams.

Tomorrow is our anniversary... so away I go to plan a fun date! XO
