Thankful 2018

Thankful that even with Matt's health scare, the Thursday before Thanksgiving, he was able to rest and recover for a few days & then we had the Thanksgiving Break of 5 full days off to just CHILL. What a blessing!
We enjoyed getting a new vehicle, adding a new addition will do that to ya!
We enjoyed the extra space and DVD perks as we drove to Grandpa Rays!

Hooray for the break ending with a Snow Day Monday for our kiddos! Our class had a field trip planned to the movies (best idea ever!) so although I went to work ( late), "work" was to watch Wreck It Ralph 2 :)

Christmas Break we are READY for you! Arizona and sun! YAY!

Hannah's adorable 3rd grade class and craft!
 PGM service, Thanksgiving Morning

 Bliss.
 Grandpa Rays!
The farm life is Hannah's best life! She was Miss Explorer, wanting to know everything about everything in Grandpa Ray's shed! And feeding the wild cats is always a highlight!

With new wheels, comes the strict no food in the car... for now ;) We love drive thrus but for now I love that new car smell even more, so we will sacrifice a few minutes ... plus this truck stop was so fun!

We just can't stay away from Sushi Ya. YUM.

In hopes of catching more nasty, destructive squirrels, the trap was set yet again! At least it wasn't a skunk like 2 years ago!

 My cutest class!
Hannah recreating Shaved Ice Illinois Style! Yum!

Soooo.... my mom's mixer broke.... she had it since she was married to my dad! It was Hitesville's wedding gift! I think she got good use out of it :) Long story short.... her new Kitchen Aid is under the tree.... but we thought it best NOT to open it yet... hand mixing gingerbread mix and molasses was hard for Miss Chef in Training, but it was fun for a minute - crumbles and all!

11.19.18

Thankful for the joy that a fresh dusting of snow brings.
And for her new Uggs arriving just in time! and for switching hats for the pic. that pink hat just pops!

Thankful for my boss who adores my family & knows the balance between home / work is real. I Love attending school events with these two & so very thankful for the availability to go!
Hudson and his santa hat.... if you give a 5 year old snow, he will want a santa hat to go with it :)
First stop: Math Class with Hannah!
2nd stop: A cute literacy assembly!
 Third Stop: Hudson's room
"Hudson is thankful for Amelia"
That sweet sweet blonde girl who is incredibly cute and beyond nice to Hudson ... he talks about her at Lego time... at supper time... basically all the time... that 1st crush... awww...
4th stop: Repeat assembly, but this time with cookies
Then the next day had us out & about in the freezing cold outdoor mall- but when the candy queen comes to town - you take her to a cool candy spot.. or two ;)

Unicorn Poop Lolli ... yes yes we did.

 And then Lindt!
Tub time... he made a cool tornado at the drain but didn't want to get sucked down
Mimi is on the ball!! Christmas is out!! We love how nuts she goes for Christmas and we kinda begged her to get it out before Thanksgiving! The house sparkles and we all just love it! Especially littlest bud.

Thankful for WEEKENDS!
The time to sleep in, regroup, gym, eat and eat some more is always a win for this guy!

Thankful for an easy Eye Doc visit.

Thankful to Lifetime for the front door parking spot for "new or expecting parents"

Thankful for smiles and lunch dates!

Thankful for a white thanksgiving! Our Hill family feast was Sunday afternoon, and it was white and beautiful!
Somehow some foods looks nasty in picture?! But believe me, even my nauseous self enjoyed it!

These two were thankful for cupcakes and magnatiles :)
