Another Whirlwind Wednesday! 10.23.19

Thankful that although we are unpaid & on strike for the 5th straight day, with day 6 approaching- it shows us a few lessons- like how good it is to stick together and get each other's backs, it has showed us how much fun both our staff peeps are! We both have had fun despite the annoyance of being out of the classrooms- since the people we share those sidewalks with are too funny & are truly here for the kiddos! From dance offs to lots of cheering for the trucks who blare those horns in support to the sweet parents that give us coffee & food- it’s been an experience! And from what we hear, progress is being made! Hooray! And all those big city rallies look interesting, but thankfully we have been able to just watch from the news and avoid the craziness!

The cutest little Lulu getting loved on in big ways.

Thankful for extra kiddo time that we get to enjoy by being off work & the extra US time!! Much needed! From a Pumpkin Patch week day treat, to field trip chaperoning & endless games of Guess Who.

Thankful for seeing sweet AZ friends after way too long!

Thankful for Harrison working so hard & loving his ref job! This weekend is the last of our soccer fun, with a fully packed tourney weekend, but he has earned moola, made new friends and has been a sweet shoe tie-er for all the little kiddos! We even distanced the momma hover & he enjoyed a mall & Gizmos date with his ref friend & a *gasp* sleepover ( You guys the struggle with knowing when and how to allow trust - especially with teens & teen boys... is HARD! But we are prayerfully making progress! And all I have in pic form for big H is is food court selfie #classic)

Thankful for love packages arriving at the perfect time. XO Auntie Jack!

Thankful for encouragement during a mini conference with author Nate Bramsen. You can buy one of his books here, What If Jesus Meant What He Said
The challenge we left with after Sunday was : are we living to the brim for Jesus? He referenced the wedding in Cana, and how the water pitchers were full, to the brim & made some great connections and great challenges.

Lulu is def her momma's daughter! Loves pumpkin! (And yes, I should buy bibs - but at least we have Shout & Bleach handy 😏)
Our next door neighbor Ozzie was in our group too! So fun!

Thankful for my uncle who lives close by my aging granny, who just had a stroke last weekend. Insert all the prayers here. She is 89, to be 90 in January if the Lord allows.

Thankful for cousin time!

I love using the AMP version of this passage! Especially verse 7 & 29-30.
