Thankful for our Country, our freedoms and the brave men and women who protect those freedoms.

Thankful for hearing positive comments regarding Hudson's growth during his IEP meeting.

Thankful for his team of teachers that support and encourage him, and us! I would be lost without these kind hearted, resourceful people that share their amazing ideas with us!

Thankful for the kids having their last week of school this week... how can it be? It seems like yesterday we were guiding Harrison on how to use a locker for middle school and now that year is nearly behind us. All the concern we had for our kids now being "bus riders", seems like a laughable worry. The friends that our kids were blessed with. The activities, the teachers, the support staff, the field trips, the memories. Oh the joys. So very thankful.

Thankful for fun ABC count downs in our Kindergarten room.
Letter I day had us out on our field, and then making Conditioner/Corn Starch Ice Cream and enjoying real ice cream :)

 Thankful for our Friday sitter who cleans our house for us!  It is SUCH a welcome surprise to walk in to spotless everything! It was also a welcome surprise to snuggle this cute guy, and have him pass right out! I sat motionless for a longggg time :)

Thankful for these texts from Harrison.

Thankful for the courage to take our kids out to a semi fancy place for dinner. They did amazingly well & loved the food off the "swords" & the fancy ice cream.
{ Good thing Hudson was free, because he is not a meat eater :) }

Thankful for our 11 year old photographer who captured us in real life blur. I love it so much it hurts. We do want a slower pace, but for now, our life, our hearts, our minds feel full and totally in fast forward momentum... and we are thankful... yet tired... Excited for some summer rest!

Thankful for our card playing Americana queen.

 What a great way to spend the morning today! {5.29.17}
Career Development and the New Day Drug Rehab sections of PGM were treated to a fun Softball game at the local park. There was a yummy BBQ meal too! SO much fun to show these guys ( and a few gals) how much fun FUN can be when it's done in a healthy, non drug/alcohol way!

{ Thankful for the patience of all these hungry guys who let Hudson scoot in front of them, slowly but surely... and made it to the cooler for soda, zippity quick!}

Thankful for a perfect ending to a perfect day.... Baby Al snuggles, family chats  and lots of good food!

Image result for psalm 73 : 26 Our daily prayer... to truly let God be our strength, take us out of every equation and insert more of God... A new week... A new focus... Lots of what ifs... Lots of unknowns... Lots of prayers just circling the Throne... Yet... The Same Strength...

5.22.17

Today marks the last Monday our kiddos go to school for this year!
{I won't even begin to do an end of year post today, as it will wreak havoc on my emotions- their teachers this year have been Heaven sent in every single aspect & to think of leaving them is literally unthinkable!}

Thankful for....

*fun kiddo birthday parties (our local ice cream shop, uses their top floor for private parties, and Moana showed up!)

*free samples in the mail ( Thanks Esther!! XO)
*quiet time to hammer out some note writing
*continued peace during transition time
*family together time... even if it included time outs and whining & the restaurant served German food & were out of the 1 food recognizable to them... cinnamon rolls ;)

 <---Julius Meinl your french press coffee is so legit.
 Annnnnd those 2 are pretty legit too ;)

*time off to chaperone Hannah ( love her teacher's method... they only go on one chaperoned trip a year, so any amount of chaperones are welcome)... this allowed for Hannah to either choose a friend or just come solo with me... since all her friends mom's came, she decided it was just her and I time- and how fun it was.. love one on one time!! Even in the 50 degree pouring rain!

 One of our most favorite places is the Play Zoo, where face painting is done by the kiddos... Her panda is pretty impressive!

*scriptures that jump off the page and into our heart
With a fistful of enemies in one hand
    and a fistful of haters in the other,
You radiate with such brilliance
    that they cringe as before a furnace.
Now the furnace swallows them whole,
    the fire eats them alive!
You purge the earth of their progeny,
    you wipe the slate clean.
All their evil schemes, the plots they cook up,
    have fizzled—every one.
You sent them packing;
    they couldn’t face you.
13 Show your strength, God, so no one can miss it.
    We are out singing the good news!
Psalm 21 :8-13 MSG

*ABC countdown began last Monday - with A for Artist Day...

Then of course we needed a swim suit preach ( from Papa's binder on Matthew)
 Another successful swim night!

*unexpected blessing for my inlaws. My mother in law and Gracie walk into Dunkin last week before taking Gracie to school. They throw confetti and give her a grand!! Plus 3 months free coffee.... just because.... she was one of 16 in the whole nation... tell me God is not in on EVERY detail of our lives? She was like, I knew God would answer our prayers, but had no idea it was going to come from Dunkin!  Really... unreal... but what a GREAT story of answered prayer.. .and it couldn't have gone to a better person... my mother in law needs a mother's day party every month, for how well she balances life with raising a grandchild full time... The Lord knew and provided, in the craziest way! I hope it encourages you, dear reader, of the abundance of blessings that the Lord has for His people...  2Chronicles 7:14...

5.15.17

Last week was a week that we had to really work through.. scheduling was hard...but it's a new Monday.. a new week.. and God has been with us through the stress, nitty gritty, joy & smiles.... He is the constant and I love that truth.
A brother from our church read Psalm 100 ... I love the Message Version... end of verse 4 & 5

Thank him. Worship him.
5 For God is sheer beauty,
    all-generous in love,
    loyal always and ever.

So thankful that in all the unknowns during the week- the Lord knows about it and knew from the beginning how it will/would all work out... crazy thought right!? His loyal always... Love it...

Thankful for fun matchy matchy shoes

Thankful for brunch with my littles while Dad and Big H were away
 Thankful for career day... Mr Head visited our class to share about his role with Discovery Education. Also pictured is my amazing helped Miss Jordan

Thankful that it down poured on Wednesday, so concession stand duty was cancelled and I could attend Harrison's band concert. ( This pic is the other 1/2 of the gym room full of ping pong tables... Harrison has NO idea how blessed he is to have those there... such a great PE unit!)
 Rock n Roll themed concert

Good Encouragement

Thankful for Harrison's awesome big brother heart. He works hard to help us out when we need it & this pic was in Matt's office at PGM. Both boys went to work with him, as his hours are changing again...

Same day, I had Morning with Mom in Room 108 and Hannah came to be a "school mom" to a couple kiddos. I love her heart to help and her compassion.

 Yay! I got some baby time!!

(At PGM - Job Fair)

Hannah loving our lunch date
 Boys enjoying PGM lunch date
 Alisa... one of my favorites ;)

 He's out!

 Love getting pics from Auntie Mila! Look at baby Al... his 1st visit to the polish deli
 And I love getting texts from home... Oh Hudsie
Thankful for teacher appreciation week
 Thankful for our Lego Land trip ...
 I want to be this organized ... some day!!
 So proud that this little man had a GOOD trip day!
  That's what we get... CPS can't even spell LOL

When big bro has a birthday party that all kids want to attend... we bribe... so Mall date here we come!

 Hannah is now totally fascinated with Sephora... She looked like a pretty pink clown when we left :)

Oh my heart. Saturday is gorgeous weather. Both kids have early games, at the same time, so we did a good job of jogging between fields to cheer them on... and we found Cooper... Hudson ADORES "My Cooper" from his class, and never ever has a play mate for the games- and has a hard time finding friends that "get him" and "speak his language".., Cooper does... and it was such a sweet time ...
  Popsicle's!!
