Happy Last week of School before break!!
Happy all things merry & bright & covid crazy! This Christmas may look so different for so many & although I find great joy in the hubbub and all the fun hoopla - my heart aches for those with a different perspective. On a side note - You know my obsession with Shanny's Frozen Bananas and all her amazing homemade goodies right? ( also on insta if you wanted to donate to her) ... but she just lost her dad...unexpectedly... and although its been a lot of Christmas's without my dad ...the ache is there ... hands down... and oh that 1st one without him?
And for all the families that lost loved ones too early due to COVID... or lost the finances to bring all the glittery fun to your families... ALL THE LOVE TO YOU... although for our fam this week has been happy healthy and all things festive, please know that if your week was not that way, I get it. 100%. And know that we are all in this together & I'm sending extra strong coffee and sprinkles of hope & cheer to you.

The time was 4:02. Santa was only there til 4:00. We literally saw him in the parking lot. But hey I get it. 2 minutes is 2 minutes. The elves were jolly & gifted Hannah lots of trinkets, including some pretty cute Christmas masks. Who woulda thought we would have such joy over cute masks. 🙈
Ok guys what do you do with all the pulp and waste from juicing? We thought maybe a compost pile? But then Matt's like- hey lets sautee it! So that green mash is kale and celery and spinach waste, whipped up with feta and garlic, and it was SO. SO. GOOD.
Saturdays at the zoo are always fun - especially since the mask mandate just happened so anyone 2 or older has to be masked at the zoo allllll the time except eating. So it was a dead zoo and we walked lots!
