Viva Las Vegas! 2020 & 2021

Road Trip!

Just a quick 4 hour jaunt to our neighbor state of Nevada!

And I redeemed myself- my last Vegas hotel booking was not so hot- read more here- https://www.blogger.com/u/1/blog/post/edit/preview/875139338267053821/7614353734917953680

but alas, my trip booking skills are back in action!

5/5 stars for Elara by Hilton Grand Vacations, based on cleanliness, room size, amenities and indoor mall attached! (The pool area looks amazing too but was closed)

That whole angelic profile. Oh Lulu... or Luis... or Lewie... or Luau... your nicknames are endless as are your napping skills. Get it GURL.
Room with a view!
Attached to the hotel was the indoor mall, and these 2 were pretty excited for a "Yard Sale"- we didn't burst their bubble, but not really the same yard sale they are thinkin' of ;)
Dining was an experience... Covid restrictions had seating to 25% capacity & a max of 4 at a table.

We were excited to see this cool projector for the shade! We kept the shade up to see those lights- but it was fun for a cartoon episode!
Our Fab 4. Freeze this day in time please.
Harrison's love tank was filled by a date out with Matt.

Early risers get Starbucks & an empty mall to hoverboard around!
Hudson was chasing her with his RC Car.  I was briskly walking Lulu. Security guards seemed unphased by the kids toys until the 2nd morning. When that one overachiever guard brought up every hypothetical situation that "could" happen... thankfully she was very kind & thankfully I had consumed my coffee & thankfully the kids have watched Mall Cop a time or two and totally "understood".
Another day, another car ride, another nap!
Vegas Harley!

This sign tho...
New Years Eve Day!
Fashion Mall & Lunch date at Sugar Factory

Guys, he didn't even ask to go in! Only a picture! Growth is happening! Go Harrison Go!

Wouldn't you love to make these displays? So yummy.

After naps for everyone, we ventured out for an early-ish NYE  night

Harrison dressed Matt - they both were pleased. I was like HAY NOW! Who's this 20 year old. Those shoes and skinny pants tho! ❤👀
Ballagio! The fountain show is always grand!

My 1st try at winning 10,000 = lost $5. Boo! And spoiler alert, it was like insert cash, press a button and over. Boring. But somehow it sucks in a crowd! That "what if" factor.
When you over buy Christmas cookies, they serve as NYE Cookies too.
HAPPY NEW YEARS! 2021 !

You knew my LED lights would make a NYE Appearance 😆
1.1.2021.
New Year.
Fresh views.
Fresh pages in the next chapter of the Hebert book.
