Somehow the summer keeps going, even if Covid spikes are happening and heatwaves are crashin' down! Gotta love the dry heat of the AZ summer!

Thankful for :

Our Freedom! God Bless America!

Virtual VBS week 1 going well! It has been fun, encouraging, hectic and productive! We DEF miss being in person with our wonderful WA friends, like SUPER DUPER miss them. So. Much. But super duper thankful for technology! It provides a little structure to our summer evenings and we all need more time in the Word, am I right? Register at : VBS Registration

Harrison's hustle. He loves coming up with ways of making money and the latest cross fit tire biz is doing so well! We are thankful to our farmer friends, who so generously give us all their spares! We clean their lot, Harrison makes some cash, it's teamwork!

Hannah's birthday month! We love planning bday fun, and Hannah is so excited to be getting closer to double digits! Just 16 days and she is 10!

Daisy Duck. This was such a great learning experience for me. Hannah has such a big heart, wanted to rescue a stray egg that was laying lake side, of course I was the nay sayer. Cue Matt and Harrison to come cycling past & jump at the duck rescue plan. Fast forward a couple weeks, after our friend incubated it and watched it hatch, and now the fluffy little squeaker is here in our house *gasp* ( in a rubber maid tub in the laundry room), and brings so much joy. I am in awe of these learning experiences some days, I tell you! Hannah is being extra diligent with all the cleaning and stinky stuff and we have a pool outback for her swim lessons. The big event was Daisy went underwater today. Even as cute as she is, I promise you, she will be reunited at the lake asap.

For the "Summer in the Psalms" bible study, courtesy of a sweet Canadian friend! I love journaling and I love the Psalms and I love accountability! This is perfect! Thanks Lindsey!

For Hudson being able to participate in virtual summer school! And for the coolest tub full of school supplies arriving this week!
Thankful for tub time with big sis and the coolest LED Bath bomb!

Thankful for Lifetime! This is me pushing an empty stroller to the pool. Thank you childcare! The hour break was much appreciated!
And the time swimming was much appreciated too! She is loving the pool!
 And loving Memere snuggles

 Thankful for Harrison's social life.
 And zoom weddings
And gift certificates to Hurts Donut!

 YUM
Thankful for Harrison being my camera guy so I can have a before and after pix.
(Cue all fitness floors to close now, so back to Mr and Mrs Muscle on Youtube!)
Thankful for summer time fam time

Thankful for being at the right place at the right time! We have our new normal out here, and that consists of car wash and coffee every morning . On that drive, we saw every side street blocked with undercover cops. And the gas station blocked and the car wash etc. So, Matt asked the cop by coffee, and sure enough a memorial for a fallen officer was happening at the mega church right there. (The footage of the actual event for the memorial and for the event that killed him is on Phoenix PD insta page fyi). In a nutshell, the commander was 6 months away from retiring, had came on scene after hours of other police officers trying to appease a 22 year old guy who was having a meltdown, with a gun. The commander proceeded up the stairs and his life ended. Just that fast. It gave us shivers. Watching the memorial online and seeing his kids talk, it was like we knew them, which of course we didn't. Death has an interesting way of drawing you in to remember the solemnity of life and drawing you together with those suffering. We saw the heli circling overhead and knew the procession from the church to the highway (passing our house) would happen eventually, so we grabbed the flag and went and waited.
And for a few moments I felt like Miss America- people are really patriotic!
 The procession is coming.
Thankful for pen pals! Hudson's bestie in IL makes the prettiest cards!
Thankful for a fun group of gals to jump in Whole 30 Round 2 with! I know my body needs a serious wake up and detox! It has felt like a 4 month vacay out here ( all the yays its been pretty amazing  BUT the food intake has been very vacay mode too! ) This is one new to me food I am ready to embrace!

Thankful for impromptu adventures! We had a beautiful drive to this lake, arrived, carried the tubes cooler and stroller down 3 flights of stairs to see bees everywhere. You guys we just can't enjoy a lake!? As soon as we ran past the bee infested seeweed shore side, the water was really nice and the sand was actually gold and shimmery! That was the only saving grace for 3 minutes. 3. is all we got before bees starting attacking our bags. But we did snap a pic or 2!
And then our drive home took us through a cute little town of Carefree.

 With a splashpad!

Thankful for Disney+. Tried to get into Hamilton- the hype from everyone was big but guys sorry I just cant.
 Thankful for Meal Prep inspo!

MY TREASURE BOX" : PSALMS (38)
Thankful for the Lord that hears our prayers and our many many wonderings.
Waiting on Him to come through with guidance.
