Last blog post was from IL... thankfully we were preserved as we drove over many miles and days, and are now semi isolated... yet with 70 degree weather to enjoy!

Enjoy some pix of the journey fro IL to AZ!

Tuesday- on the road!

Real life ( and yes he granted permission to show this!) Food choices for our Whole 30 was limited but we found Jimmy Johns, and driving while eating a hand held salad basically, was a task, but he sure was up for that!
Real Life... the number of times parents pretend their kids are angels at home and we the teachers provoke them to act out? Are you even serious. This meme is everything.
And these gas prices are too!
 Thankful for peaceful travelers!
Thank you 'Rona for making me get back on Insta. I love seeing all our friends! And love seeing how we all shine through the storm!
Thankful for a new to us hotel- Home 2 Suites... bigger space... yet good price too.
Thankful for witnessing our Creators masterpieces as we drive! We love how the scenery shifts from the midwest.
Thankful that we were spared any travel issues, prayed for this guy, the winds were strong and we assume that's how he landed that way?
FINALLY! Thursday afternoon ... this sign... was so beautiful
And then a snowy drive in...
With some good scenery & animals!

This news.... brings out all the feels...
VRBO is new to us, this being our 1st time ever using it!! So insert all the PTLs when the owner let us check in a day early, is a believer and has a stocked library!

Thankful for buddies! For this week, they are both 6! Mason just turned 6, and Hudson has just 4 days left of being 6! Although they were not 6 feet apart, we did have lots of hand washing.
Thankful for this book!

Cousins!! Reunited at last!
Lulu loved the bouncer that awaited her at the VRBO, and the view of the pool and sun!
Armed with Clorox wipes, we head to the park!
The big boys went hiking

And YES! Ice Cream truck visits!
Sonic!
The pool is not heated & freezing- but he had to test the water for himself!

Thankful that my mother in law brought him Legos! I think if we had to rebuy certain things for home quarantine, toys and kid stuff would be tops!
When the meat shelves are bare but you know a guy! Thankful for his grass fed meat!
I love this picture! They all are most def related!
Slime Factory!

Fashion show!
Another day, another hike!

Dinner date with these incredible friends! Clorox wipes make their appearance table side yet again!
Hudson could really enjoy the social distancing thing! Yup! He's under there!
L.O.V.E them
Thankful for the library of new to me reads! You and Me Forever by Francis and Lisa Chan is really good!

Thankful for our church's Zoom gathering, we took the call in the car & did our video time at the park- so even miles away we could be together! And our missionary friend from Ukraine was on too! Technology : coming through for us!
Thankful for new ways of making coffee! Not sure it's better? But it was fun!
This girl can SLEEP. And this needs to be framed. Love her!
Thankful for Harrison's help on this tricky puzzle! Looks good enough to eat!

And so our kid's Spring Break started today... in true save my sanity fashion we have a schedule, on the days that we can follow it... and on other days... it is what it is! We are thankful for this time together where we can be the one's with them all day. SO far so good! We all are enjoying it! I know the sun and warmth and new state help that, but still very very thankful!

Stay healthy, safe, sane & close to the Lord this week! XO
