Today is Monday... tomorrow our district will be closed for at least 2 weeks. Today only 8 brave kids came to class. We have had many "give each other space" talks and used this opportunity to remind them that noses are not for digging in, sneezes are not for sharing & please line up with 2 floor squares between you and your friend. Its noon and so far so good.
With the shutdown, somehow we think we should drive to our Spring Break destination and are making plans to do that ... tomorrow.. God willing!
We are thankful that we have all been spared any big illness this winter/spring & pray that continual hand washing & proper germ care will help keep it that way! Lulu had pink eye Thursday/Friday, and after her Dr Appt that provided meds, she is back to health, except for teething issues, but that'll be life for the next little bit!
Mentally we are prepping to be with our kids full time for 2 weeks and to any parent out there we all know this is big news! I think I have always been able to have some sort of break, besides naps and bedtime, like the gym, work or grocery run! When all is gone, it just leaves US and that's a beautiful place to be... but please pray for sunshine and patience... as I think I need a hefty dose of both!

Thankful for a company creating genius kids stuff! Hudson LOVES his stuff! It's a frequent occurrence to tuck him in, with 10+ cars by his face, or army men on his side table etc. But this lamp is everything! Now to find it somewhere besides PBKids!!

Thankful that the zoo was open, only outdoor exhibits, but that is the BEST for us! Noone was there, and we got our walk and outdoor air in!
