Thankful this week....
for these silly kids. {5-6 graders ready for their last Cross Country Meet ... in the cold and rain}
for the verse of the day... that hits my heart...yet again. God's word speaks. I have really appreciated the relationship that I have recently ( over the past 7 years) developed with my Heavenly father...the verses that He uses each day and each week to speak are so needed ... so real... so true... and so on target for my life!!
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
1 Peter 2:9 NIV
for Hudson & Harrison. These two, even with 8 years in between, wrestle, love, snuggle, smack, attack and are just plain goofy together.
That hat went to bed with Hudson. He was obsessed. It was adorable.
for an awesome family who takes our 3 kids, anytime, and treats them like their own.
(Picture was after a rainy cold trick or treat time)
(Here they go! Braving the storm ... all for the sweet stuff :))Thankful for Auntie Mila who rescued Matt from having to do princess hair and makeup on Friday ;) The kids loved their costume parade at school & I was breathing a sigh of relief that Hannah had her hair done ;)
Thankful for fun STEM activities that kept my class totally engaged at the end of the day on Friday! #toothpickcandystructure for the win!1
Thankful for Bone Cheetos!!! Seriously was the BEST way to assess the students on skeleton stuff!! Make a model of a skeleton... I checked it... they ate it... we were both happy :)
Thankful for guest readers.
Thankful for a fun 1st year of Cheer. Hannah's cheer show was last week and was simple & adorable, but honestly we saw the next stage of cheerleaders and dancers, bellies out and loaded with makeup at 7- 8... so I think we may pursue Soccer & ballet only next year :)
So very thankful that my good friend Jess sent some very special mail. Thanks girl!!!
It meant alot XO
