Lulu Piper is 2!

2 years ago on June 4, we were excitedly awaiting our littlest princess's arrival! Just a mere 40 hour labor later, and the tiniest Hebert was born. We were absolutely smitten, as we were with our other 3, each time in awe that our love could expand even further. After Harrison, we thought we could never love another human as much as him. Hannah came, and we thought for sure it was impossible to love our 3rd. Hudson came, and man- proven wrong again. Our hearts just grew and our love kept pouring. Just smitten. After 7 years of Hudson as "the baby" and we had such a chill "normal" - could this littlest love ever fit in? How does your love keeping expanding and the new normal just evolve so organically? It has be to divine, because she came, she was a perfect Heaven sent gift. The gift of wonder. She was and is perfect in every way. An easy going baby & just adorable too. Such. a . joy.

In her 2 short years, she has on many adventures, airplane rides just months of after birth to Jersey. Road trips galore. A Chicago Teachers Union strike! Hug and snuggle after hug and snuggle from family and friends. She is an easy eater and an even easier napper and sleeper. (Except last night when she was up and quite vocal for 2 hours!)

Lulu's faves:
Phrases: Uh oh! What? Hi! Ball! Baba!  ( The essentials of course :))
Foods: Anything dairy! Anything sweet!
Songs: Wheels on the Bus & Behold our God
Activities: Anything with the fam. Anything with others. Swimming!

She is oh so flexible & we are excited to see how she does with gymnastics this year! She is a jumping bean machine and flips and flops endlessly! Here's channeling that to Olympic levels :)

Love you beyond words Lulu !!!

Birthday loot for the big wake up! ( Don't gifts look so fun unwrapped and set up? I think this may be our new norm for her anyways.
Donut Day on your Birthday! Yay!

Rosy cheeks and lunch with big bro!
My AZ bestie so kindly offered her home - think perfectly clean, smells amazing all day every day, and an amazing outdoor area magazine style home! It was 106 degrees, we needed a pool! And she is the best with party planning!
Happy 2nd to Lulu & Happy early 16th to Harrison!

Early the next morning.... out of the trails!

We have done gifts out of the spotlight since Hudson, just to minimize any gift drama! Its ALOT of attention for the kiddos ( and parents too!) and at this age, it seemed appropriate to open at home the following day, on her own schedule. And good thing she did, because she threw 90% of the gifts and said NO... she only wanted to draw!

We wrangled her for a quick card read and pic tho!

Post church pic! Big girl did great in the 2 year old room!
