Wednesday Reflection

Happy Hump Day !

Where did Monday even go? Already its midweek - no complaints! C'mon weekend!

This weekend was full! From workouts, to Mother's Day prep, to school and life, it was packed! But hooray we caught some of the action in photo form!

Hannah had a 2nd week of Zoom baking with her fave Canadian friends. She made banana coconut choc chip muffins... kitchen was dirty so she whipped up a doll cake too... and in true fashion we had no more paper towels... so clean up duty used TP 🙊

Harrison blessed us with his culinary class assignment ... oreo cheesecakes!
Sadly... we lost one of the baby bunnies. Peaches, the sweetest peach and white bunny was unresponsive one morning. Hannah made her a sweet tomb & wrote her eulogy. I think it helped with her grief.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY WEEKEND!! 1st stop - Blue Rooster!
Meanwhile... the guys had a locals only Crossfit Open all day event ... it was a fundraiser to help out a local crossfitter battling cancer.

Timing is everything... this verse is on my dad's grave.. when my mom decided on that verse I was like oh ok thats random but nice... and now almost 13 years later it is such a special verse and pops up often... and it showed up yet again Saturday night at church!

The coffee fairy delivered! Yay!
No tired like mom tired... dare I even start typing about Mother's Day.. maybe long story short is Hallmark - Mother's Day is every day & just because you make it 1 sunday a year does not mean the world stops, dishes magically get cleaned, laundry disappears in perfectly folded ways and toddlers sit like angels at brunch. Moms are still on duty... and still have to leave a brunch table with a screamer and cry in the car because said Momosa was never drank and the chocolate chip pancakes and avo omelette never eaten ( or even ordered!!). But thankfully there is always bed time... and mom duty comes to an end... and date time kicks in... when we heard  that a musician from Maui was coming I was hopeful we would get to go... the way the day turned out it just needed to happen... but the tired no filter eyes just share the truth... momming is hard... it's amazing and rich and inspiring and hard and exhausting... to all the moms... mom figures... role models for other moms... I see  you... and hug you and share my coffee with you today and err day...  you are super human and awesome... thank you. xo
Fresh Wasabi. Game changer.

Matt's dad loves star gazing and bought some pretty insane binoculars!
I bought some pretty cheap chalkboard spray paint... our trash turned fancy teal kitchen table started peeling and just like pringles... once you pop you cant stop.. once you see a peel you just peel and peel and peel especially during boring zoom calls! And alas it was a HOT mess....
Then I passed clearance spray paint and said Oh Hey! Navy! That sounds great!
And then.... the table wouldn't fit out the door... So Oh Hey! Let's spray paint indoors! That sounds great! *Said noone. Ever* Yet it happened! And we are alive and slightly high. 👀💀😆
Not sure on legs yet.... it just so happened to look semi ombre on the legs and we all kinda like it? Not sure... maybe once we're recovered from the fumes we will revisit.

Choc Donut + Lulu = messsssy boss babe.

Have a wonderful rest of week, friends!

XO
