Thankful this week for ...
a new read for Matt and Harrison... it's a little a heavy, but really good! ( You know I joined the reading too, but how cool that as Matt is teaching his reading block, he can silently read too!)

Thankful for Harrison doing such a good job bbsitting on the daily. Lulu and he have bonded so well and we love it.
Thankful for pizza dates!

Thankful for our little homebody. He has been the happiest in quarantine. He is obsessed with being home and always wants to stay home, and misses Mimi's house the most! He is always building a cool fort, hiding on Lulu or making a random soldier game. Creative juices flow strong. And clothes are always optional.
Thankful for consistency... all of a sudden the 5:30 alarm doesn't even go off! The body just knows. And it's easier now than it will be come cooler darker mornings to rise and grind, so we will do it til we can't :)
Thankful for random drives and ice cream treats.
Thankful for the pretty skies and the beastly tires.
Thankful for another Hudson game. And for the good sport dad that played along.
Thankful for the go cart being done. Dare I even say that? Every day there is a new thing to fix or new bolt to buy. But I think we are in the clear!? So fun that he and his buddies have this Air Conditioned barn to tinker in, and for our friend's grandpa hooking Harrison up with some awesome welding. Such a fun Covid Souvenir.
Thankful for this little love. Bedtime, as all you know, is her favorite. Of course her hair needs to look cute at bedtime ( not really but she loves having her hair combed, who doesn't!) so here is her pre crib photo shoot. She is just such a love and learned how to respond when we say Cheeeeese

Another Hudson creation. This is "like Candy land but with soldiers".
Thankful for this recommendation, and thankful I scored a copy!
Thankful to still be healthy and for hearing lowered numbers here in AZ for Covid... and for making our return to IL plans in mid Fall. Yes we would love to stay in AZ especially for the winter months, but for now we go with God like my dear late Granny said about our Hawaii trek... and trust that He has it all figured out because I promise you, we sure don't!

XO

  1. The go-cart looks so good! Such a fun project. And those sweet little pre-bedtime pics are just the cutest!
