"Gratefulness isn't hard. Forgetting to be grateful, makes life hard"- Ann Voskamp

The same lady that inspired this whole blog from Day 1, with the writing of 1,000 gifts, years ago, continues to inspire us all to be grateful in the every day circumstances. (Thanks Ann!)

The past 2 weeks, when CPS was on strike, was an interesting opportunity to be still & reflective of the Goodness of God despite the circumstances.

Thankful that we could enjoy us time.

And whole movie theaters to ourselves!

Thankful for Matt coaching this beaut. Their team was interesting, and he is thrilled to be done, but there was much joy in Hannah's heart each practice and every Saturday!
Smiling extra big since it's the last midweek practice! ( Give a shout out & hug to your kiddo's coaches!)
Thankful that even though we were out of our classrooms, we could still get crafty! Glitter anyone?

Thankful for extra one on one time with this girly!
 Stripes on stripes!
Thankful for Larry and "Roof" sharing their night with us!
Thankful for Amazon & these crazy big bows!
Thankful for walks to get the kiddos from school and great leaves for selfies!

 Thankful for choir concerts!
And fanily photos! Sorry Lulu, bows are in the way! ( Disclaimer, she is asleep anyways)
Thankful for Hannah giving it 110% this soccer season. She was one of 3 girls on the team, and was determined to run harder and faster than before at each practice and game!
Thankful for Harrison's ref friends & their goofyness! They had such a great season!
Lulu loves her stroller!
What a gross day, but hooray for a fun way to stay warm!

Trunk or Treat at the local church was rained out, but the kiddos loved it anyways! Thank you for improvising & loving on our kiddos so generously, Good Shepherd Church!

Thankful for these kiddos sweet teachers could take a road trip to a bible conference & I got to sub!

Thankful to have been able to get kiddos ready each day during Red Ribbon Week!

Thankful for pumpkin carving fun!
Harrison took it very seriously.

Hudson was on sis duty
They're both wanting some help!
We all miss my mom when she travels to see Ray, Hudson misses her the most! And just had to tell her about his pumpkin!
Seeds for days!

Taking the food process into her own hands!
The pink fleece car seat cover arrived literally JUST as we were heading out to be at the kiddos Halloween parties, and the flurries were flying!

Halloween 2019
What a night!

Harrison & his pal Bobby were crayons- crazy hat hair, but had a blast!
Smiley Sisters!
The Friday after Halloween, which should be a holiday, was our 1st day back from the strike,
It was bitterly cold, and a ghost town at school, but loved the welcome back love!

Thankful for a packed Fusion night- good message, good food, good games!

Watch out, this team is ready.
Love  you
When Halloween candy is on sale....

Thankful for friends who throw fun parties! Harrison was so excited!

  1. Having an entire movie theater to yourself is basically the best thing ever.
I love your crafty and cute picket sign!
How is it possible that Lulu keeps getting cuter and cuter?! Also, I LOVE her little leopard top...I got a sweater from Target that looks just like it- you need to check it out and do some twinning!
Harrison's costume was amazing...love that he went to a teen party! Might need to add that to my list next year....😏
