Getting back into the workin' momma groove has its moments.... so blogging may be late... but I adore journaling about our life... and it keeps the real priorities in perspective.

This cutie helped us both set up our classrooms 😍
So in theory using maternity leave days until the last day seemed smart... and you know me, that 3pm dismissal time means I am OUT... but the boxes and boxes needed ( and still need to be!) unpacked and purged and sorted...so I hot glued up some curtains and hid the stuff!
So one thing we loved about Hawaii was how we were always outdoors and always able to meet and greet neighbors... somehow in the fast paced blur of city life, we hibernate once we get home! So last weekend when our plans shifted last minute, it gave Hannah a fun day to play with our across the street neighbors, and have a "free drink and chip" distribution. It was adorable to watch!
And then we had some trail time... Hudson was not impressed by the horses mess!
This is my fave picture... riding his car... both hands in the air... FULL OF JOY... can't get enough.
We love the city and we love the Lincoln Park Zoo! This time of year is ideal for that kinda outing!
Then we visited the new to us Conservatory!
And when in the city... you've gotta visit Sultan's Market on Clark.. but there is VERY limited seating - sooo tail gate time!
And of course we visited Molly's!

Open House Night is one of my faves... I love seeing the creativity that their teachers have... and we adore both of their teachers again this year. #blessed

Today 9/6 is Picture Day! I love that our school allows siblings to pose together! I love these yellow Hanna outfits!! AND I love that Hudson lost BOTH front teeth yesterday!!!
The drive to work.. while listening to Shane and Shane "Is He Worthy".. The sky just opened... insert the goosebumps!
Here's to everyone having the BEST FALL WEEKEND!!
We have soccer games, date with friends, and Matt's family coming into town!
