And then... they out... since Matt was away I said sure, you can join me in my once in a lifetime ALL TO MYSELF King bed... NEVER AGAIN.. this ideally magical night turned into a panic- will Hudson kick me too hard? The jabs were insane... I might have feared for his baby sister's life ... Will Hannah roll off our insanely high bed?😠Why is Hudson's arm on Hannah's face?🙈 It was a learning experience, and praise the Lord for strong coffee on Saturday!💤

So.... this was big... like huge big... Each kiddo had a chance to read to the class as they wind down the year. Monday was Hudson's big day. He has been practicing oh so hard with Miss H and at home. He has a photographic memory- so once he hears it and sees the picture, it's locked in! He can sound words out but let's get real- pages 1-17 of sounding every single word?! NOPE!
He read it. He rocked it. He was beyond proud of his success. His teacher's encouragement and praise was just beautiful. Heart so full & so thankful!
Of course we celebrated with a Happy Reading Day to You cake & juice party!
A quiet house meant I had some reading time! Jennie Allen's book nailed it yet again!

Retail therapy at it's best. Seriously though!? Yes I bought it. And like 5 other adorable things - tutus galore. Bring it on! 💛💛💛💛
