Beantown Week & Niagra

What a wonderful summer away we had.... and now we are home sweet home... and the daunting task of unpacking has been pushed off yet another day... the sun is so bright and the pool and fun calls so loudly

Here are some captured memories from our amazing last week in Boston.... those memories that we will treasure for years to come and so thankful to our friends and family and our Heavenly Father for making each day so special {and safe! the miles we drove and the speeds at which they were driven and the traffic... all just cause us to be uber thankful}...

Matt met a good friend in North End during our visit, and was kind enough to snag momma some yummy canoli's!!!

Crazy timing, yet the distance was too much to join them, Matts parents were in Northern Maine, during our MA visit, and sent this great picture of Matt's Memere. who is 92.

Picking up Auntie Paula in the city one night has the kids dabbin' at Nike

 Thankful for Wisdom Hunter's daily devotionals. Always so fitting. Always.
Thankful for friends who share their love of fishing with us!!
{That's a squid, which began to ink, so it was released ASAP!}

 (the bait for the striper)

 Those fish.... turned into a pretty tasty supper :)

Thankful for some time to think about my classroom... Donut theme here we come...

 Thankful for an amazing lobstah dinnah

 Thankful for sand during summer days and  Smores on a summer night
 Thankful for a yummy breakfast spread....mixed with awesome chats and fam jam time. Love you Auntie Jack & Uncle Glenn!! XO

 Thankful for Marian. Anita's daughter ( our good friend and host during this week). Marian shared the good news of Pride's Crossing with us... Chocolate for days.....

 Thankful for Hudson time! While the big kids were at VBS each evening, we got some two on one Hudsie time!
 Thankful for a fun, biblical, engaging VBS that our kiddos LOVED!! Saugus, you did it again!!  What a fun treat to be included in their field trip to Sky Zone too!
  Hudson loving the mall's toys :)
 This. was. amazing. sushi.

  Our last day in Boston... and oh what a gorgeous day to be a tourist. To just sit and people watch was awesome. The wind was ahhmazing and the adorable carousel was the best way to end the afternoon. Until next time Beantown... xo

  The best napper ever... please pray that his afternoon preschool schedule is do-able! This sleepyhead adores his quiet down time {And who are we kidding... I love it too!}
  Last supper of our Boston trip was take out from Nicks... a must do if you're in town :) YUM.

On the road again... we made a detour to Niagra instead of DC ;)

  Look at this place!! Not only were the clouds like huge puffy balls, the weather was ideal, and our Hampton Inn was in walking/scootering distance, which pleased all of us to no end!
{Whether or not Niagra State Park liked the neon green tire tracks from H's scooter is another thing ;)}
 Hudson has a thing for bridges. This one was pretty neat!

 Back at the ranch.... safe and sound and ready so ready.. to begin the never ending...sigh...battle of the vacation bulge.... so we can have room for our seafood dinners and Candy Kitchen desserts in December ;)... goodbye for now my dear carbs and most dairy! XO
