Thankful this week for SLEEP.
I take it for granted, but then Hudson was up from 1-4am puking, and I know it was getting me ready for our summer sleep - less baby schedule and it made me extra thankful for sound & solid sleep during this 2nd trimester!!

Thankful for the yummiest pizza place right by our Gym! Makes for a fun & quick supper option!

 Thankful for co-workers who give me good home cooked soul food!

 Thankful for this beaut. 3rd grade is hard. 3rd grade girls are mean. Her friends are cool and fun 90% of the time, but that 10% is just brutal, and yes she is tough, but she is a big softy inside. Thankful for her tenacity and her spirit to move on and just keep going, and her love of being outdoors! Bike rides are good for the soul!

 
 And then we have to pose, because Saturdays are FUN and CHILL and praise the Lord that it rained, so the brand new sparkle boots could come out!

 Big Bro had a bday party and sleepover, so she got to go on our sushi date! Hudson was sick, and slept the whole supper! So she had us to herself!

 This new to us Sushi spot was all the hearts! And look at this Sweetheart roll! Shaped like a heart. I can't even!

 So the Moody Bookstore in the city, is going ( or by now most likely has), gone out of business. I bought this book on a whim. But what a good whim it was!
The intro hit my heart so good.
 "If I were your enemy , I would make you numb & distract from God's story. Technology, social media, Netflix, travel, food, comfort. I would not tempt you with notably bad things, or you would get suspicious. I would distract you with everyday comforts, that slowly feed you in a different story & make you forget God. Then you would dismiss the Spirit leading you, loving you and comforting you. Then you would start to love comfort, more than surrender, obedience & souls." I needed this. I have been extra distracted by social media lately, ironically, since my hubby just studied and presented on this topic 2 weeks ago! I am all about the latest baby items, baby bump styles, birth stories of total strangers etc. I needed a techno detox, and oddly enough it IS HARD to be off social media!! I miss my peeps, but my lack of self control is too nuts!! There is a sense of freedom as well. So for now, all my insta pals, I miss you but will see you in April!

 Thankful for these expected temps!! Flip flops are in our future!!

How is it Wednesday already? This week is flying by! Could be because I took a day off & just lived my best life in that one sanity saving day!!

 My mom has endless patience with our 3 each morning! Hudson wanted her to have a path that led to her room. His brain works in very strange yet very genius ways & this picture just shows it!

 I was worried I would have to eat all the non green M & M's for green eggs and ham ;) But alas, these ALL green mint M & M's saved me some calories!!

 Saturday breakfast! Boys met up with our friend Dustin, who helped install some things on our truck & the littles & I enjoyed our brunch date too!

 Hannah is basically Sherri's 3rd child. I love when she sends me pictures too. I can just drool over her amazing house decor each time.

 With my mom outta town, I am on mom duty each morning and love it!! Hannah's hair gets done, and I get extra snuggle time with them all!

 But then once they are on that bus, Tuesday had me all over town!
Of course with rain predicted Saturday, Hannah needs boots ;)

Thankful that February is flying right along! Spring must be close! We need sun and warmer temps, please!

 Sugar stops with Dad! And update on Matt's heart issues : all seems well! So now we just have the great task of managing stress in a more effective, less stroke like manner ;) The joys of getting older and teaching in the city ;)

 This sweet Moody student, gave us a grand tour of Moody & we scored some great deals at the bookstore that is going outta biz! Hudson was very sad that "we couldn't keep him (Carter)" for the whole day.

 For all the breakfast places who make Mickey Mouse Pancakes, yet trick the kids by putting canned fruits on it and chocolate chips... boo to you... we just wanted a plain mouse head... sigh ;)

 Week 3 of Ninja Course

Field Trip Monday! We love getting our babies outta the neighborhood and into some really cool city experiences! The Planetarium was a hit, especially with Sesame Street's movie!
