With Mimi away, the kiddos had a great time with me off for a day (so productive once the kiddos were at school let me tell you, I could get in the stay at home momma groove, but then I went to Nordstrom and was like oh yeah, this is why I work... Baby Boden ... all the hearts...), and then joining me at work the rest of the week! Harrison was the only one who had his normal schedule- except for Friday, when he joined our field trip! What a fun, busy week! Picture dump! Enjoy! XO

 Field Trip Friday!

 LegoLand Schaumburg! Totally updated since 2 years ago & it was so fun! I love when field trips are equally as fun for the teacher :)

 And our kids are giants- so they were my student's chaperones on the rides!

 Hour ride home? Naps please!

 Snowy Saturday!

 Since baby time seems like ions ago, and it was! I had to look back at baby pics to remind myself if our kids used pacis or not, how they slept, what we used or didn't use... oh Hudson. Such perfection.

 And then seeing solid black had me with all the hearts!

Sunday lunch at our fave, Joy Yee! The tofu and beef spicy Korean Soup is always such a hit, but even more so on freezing days!

 With a late start for school today, and a very patient boss, I took a late start too ( although CPS is die hard and wanted us there on time!) Book Dress Up Day came to last minute fruition! She nailed it! And then sideways hat, gangsta Pete the Cat Hudson!

What a great week!
Lots of snow to play in! Ray surprised us! Nesting was in full swing & new furniture was set up!
And the week ended with a great win by our fave team, 2nd birthday festivities for Allen & no school thanks to MLK Jr!

 Costco is so dangerous. Go there for a thing or two, come back with 2 truck loads.

 Our cozy bed is now perfect for Hannah & Hudson.

 Friday night after a Thursday full of moving and bed building, we needed to treat Grandpa Ray who is so super strong and super handy, to a delish authentic Mexican meal by Matt's work. This was a new to us spot & we highly recommend!

 Me bundled up on the recliner, watching our fave police show. Live PD & a safari tea party going on with little man.

 Woke up to pretty snow! A few inches made it sledding time!

 How perfect is this hill? And behind it.. Menards... to rescue our sled-less selves! Hooray!

 Later that day, Hudson fell asleep in the van, so the oldest two got some new hill adventures solo!

 Although our friend Rach did not win, how awful and disappointing to lose by a dislocated arm, we loved cheering her on!!! She is my old boss's daughter from Waianae Hawaii!

 Sundays are often extra hard on Hudson. But he napped away his craziness & woke up ready to celebrate Allen!

 Monday Funday!

 My face when Matt wants more toys. Dirtbikes times 2 and fourwheeler times 2. Dream on dreamer.

Trying to look beastmode. We are prepping for a big nerf war with some church friends soon. 

 So once a quarter the kids get to try to say 6-12 verses at once, to earn some moola. It's a fun incentive for them to keep God's word memorized! But we do a horrible job of learning them each week. So we have 6 days. The cramming has begun! We got this!

 Of course my 5pm Ultra Sound appt was not on time, so I had time to "window" shop online! This kissy set is oh so sweet! Finding new brands and new trends is oh so overwhelming but super fun too! Ultrasound news: It is still a girl :) And she is healthy and all looks great! So thankful! 🙏
