Back to blogging today during lunch!! I love using social media as my main way to blog now, but I also love having this forum for my non social media friends and keeping this online journal alive! I love reflecting on our memories it truly gives an attitude adjustment when I can be thankful for so many amazing moments with my favorite people
Last post was Harrison's birthday in June... wow... but life has been fast and good and hard all at once... will try to update in order!

After Matt and Hannah returned from Okanogan WA, we flew to Madeira! Our condo was avail on Saturday, we arrived on Friday and stayed at a local resort down the street.
Checked into Seaview!
We love grilling and doing homecooked meals in the condo and then eating overlooking the beach.. it was HUMID for us dry AZ peeps but oh so worth it !!

It was stormy most nights and the skies were just incredible!
HAPPY 4th!! Our 1st 4th down there!! We already booked it for next year too God willing!! It was SO MUCH FUN! ( A little loud of some of us, but overall, really fun!!)

We flew in and did not rent a car... after a couple days of walking everywhere we thought about renting something... and this 6 seater golf cart was so fun!! The local streets are slow anyways, so why not just putt around!

We met a family at Seaview who is now like family. I love when that happens!! Their daughter and Lulu were besties. We even got invited to her birthday party on the beach with all their friends too. We stay in touch still and they booked the same 2 weeks next summer too. :)
We FINALLY got to meet our unmet Canadian besties. Matt and I were blessed with their friendship over zoom and over whatsapp and insta... but we never met them in our 2 year friendship until THIS SUMMER!!!

During our stay we had to do some updates - we created an additional sleep space for one bedroom by adding this bunk and new headboard and curtains
There were SO many pictures in between but those were a few highlights!
Ok so we had no idea that this goodbye would be so hard. We thought it would be a cute hug and see you but NO :( Lulu was bawling. Then all us ladies started crying too. Dang! Saying goodbye for a whole year is HARD stuff!! So thankful for such friends!
And now we fly home :)
We got a brand new southwest plane! It was beautiful inside and the flight was a dream!
HOME SWEET HOME!
2 weeks away is a great vacay but we were all itching for our "normal" again!
Next post is Hannah's 12th!!!
