Oh my dear blog
How I miss you
Hi Friends
Thank you for your patience
I loved my weekly gratitude journaling after a fave author Ann Voskamp's book 1,000 Gifts, but now that I am writing basically my own "book" with GCU & writing 2 million IEPs and behavior plans... when I have gratitude I forget to open up another tab and note it! But oh how I love the practice and the goodness it provides and I love having my kiddos memories online- one day they will have access to this and hopefully love reliving their days!! So here we go! Back at it!
Thankful for 1/2 price Top Golf Tuesdays and fun spontaneous friends to go with!
Thankful that my cousin bought a rental property in Phx ( any visitors to Phx, hit me up for his property listing! It is gorgeously updated and looks dreamy!) This means we get to see more of them too!

Love these two.
Lulu was a hot mess, ungated pools are always hard for me as a parent to navigate, especially with a very vocal little Miss.... who wants what she wants when she wants it... and will let the whole party know.... but then after 2 hours of chasing her around she finds this cage that was there the whole time.... and sat in it and around it the rest of the night.
Harrison's look... the look of "I can not fake it anymore the wait is so long and I am starving". True story. Staff shortages are hard on us all.

The JV team and coach Matt
**Warning - kinda gross **
One night we found brand brand new bunnies out back.
The other babies were born safely in this amazing underground burrow, but these were not so fortunate. We rescued them but we think maybe by even doing that we got our smells on them?
Hannah named all of them with adorable P names and in the morning sadly. they were all in bunny heaven. Hannah takes great hope in knowing that bunnies can have another litter in 31 days. So here we wait!
Meanwhile the big bunnies want to eat the carrots on Lulu's dress
Such a good reminder. Kind words are like honey.
I love morning drop offs with her! ( Hudson is now homeschooled for the 4th quarter, so she gets to do school solo and is not mad about it! Although she adores Hudson and always had eyes on him at lunch and lunch recess, having her own time and space is such a good thing as well . As far as Hudson - he is such a great at home learner and we are very thankful for this time he has with Matt each day)
So remember the stud pic from the soccer banquet?
This happened the next day!
We had NO idea what in the world happened. We took him to the Dr, she was mystified but assumed it was an allergy and told us the allergy meds to take. We did not think it was allergies as he is the healthiest kid ever, so we got a couple other opinions. Noone knew what was going on!
Then Monday comes.. and a few other kids from the soccer party had the SAME THING!
You guys... the hosts of the party had sprayed for rats and scorpions prior and must not have thought to share that with anyone!? All their fun diving in the sand volleyball courts was what we think did it! And the sand mixed with pesticides spread everywhere!
We are just so thankful he is nearly fully recovered ( a full week later) and that we opted to keep the littles home!
Going into Hudson's birthday weekend like...
Lunch out!
Church on his birthday eve!
BOB GOFF !! We are huge Bob Goff fans- who isn't!?! And adore his writing styles and all he stands for. His love for Jesus and others just radiates. Look at his smile! He made us feel like we were best friends in this 2 minute meeting! Such a blessing to see him, meet him and hear him.
