So the past 2 weeks have been a blur.
Working hard to stay in the moment... yet the moment slips by so darn fast & boom 2 weeks have passed in between posts.
In a nutshell all is well. 4th Quarter started so that meant more students were scheduled to come in person, so I took a week trip to IL to prep the room & clean things out. It was awesome how it provided some closure to our IL chapter. We left only for a vacay & now a year +, after settling so well in sunny land, we know for now - we are going to stay in sunny land ☀️
Thankful oh so thankful for our kiddos routines & their ages & adaptability. Leaving for a week was hard inside for me & yes I almost stayed in the truck when we pulled to the curb at southwest ... BUT we can do hard things right? I hear it. I read it. I even preach it ... so i better live it! And the return trip was special because I had my mom coming back as a surprise for Hannah & Hudson! It was short & sweet & full of memories!
And then the big 3-8 happened!
And this weekend as in T minus 1 sleep, hubs & I escape for a resort stay. ☀️

Yes. This was Monday of 4th Quarter. And yes those were both for me.
I just loved getting photos from the ranch. Hannah did her motherly role of feeding kids in Mickey form.
Harrison did his stud role of cooking for class without a shirt. And using EVERY SINGLE PAN. Thank you dad for cleaning IT ALL UP. #forealtho (The assigned food was toffee and somehow his teacher thought the class should make the full serving size of 78 pieces?! It was really tasty and we will be eating toffee for years.)
