11.19.18

Thankful for the joy that a fresh dusting of snow brings.
And for her new Uggs arriving just in time! and for switching hats for the pic. that pink hat just pops!

Thankful for my boss who adores my family & knows the balance between home / work is real. I Love attending school events with these two & so very thankful for the availability to go!
Hudson and his santa hat.... if you give a 5 year old snow, he will want a santa hat to go with it :)
First stop: Math Class with Hannah!
2nd stop: A cute literacy assembly!
 Third Stop: Hudson's room
"Hudson is thankful for Amelia"
That sweet sweet blonde girl who is incredibly cute and beyond nice to Hudson ... he talks about her at Lego time... at supper time... basically all the time... that 1st crush... awww...
4th stop: Repeat assembly, but this time with cookies
Then the next day had us out & about in the freezing cold outdoor mall- but when the candy queen comes to town - you take her to a cool candy spot.. or two ;)

Unicorn Poop Lolli ... yes yes we did.

 And then Lindt!
Tub time... he made a cool tornado at the drain but didn't want to get sucked down
Mimi is on the ball!! Christmas is out!! We love how nuts she goes for Christmas and we kinda begged her to get it out before Thanksgiving! The house sparkles and we all just love it! Especially littlest bud.

Thankful for WEEKENDS!
The time to sleep in, regroup, gym, eat and eat some more is always a win for this guy!

Thankful for an easy Eye Doc visit.

Thankful to Lifetime for the front door parking spot for "new or expecting parents"

Thankful for smiles and lunch dates!

Thankful for a white thanksgiving! Our Hill family feast was Sunday afternoon, and it was white and beautiful!
Somehow some foods looks nasty in picture?! But believe me, even my nauseous self enjoyed it!

These two were thankful for cupcakes and magnatiles :)

11.13.18

Thankful for a surprise early arrival from Dad! Hannah's joy as she runs off the bus to him needs to be bottled up for ever. ❤

Thankful for positive conferences with all the kiddos teachers. I def stole this idea from Hudson's incredible teacher for my own conferences!
Thankful that my boss is amazing and my family is always welcome in my classroom.
This week the kiddos had two days off and although I desperately wanted to stay home, the subs in my school are a hot mess & I know I better save my days off for the summer...
And I do adore my class. So all three came one day and then two came the other. It was slightly exhausting :) But super special. And on Friday, we got SNOW!
 Hannah and Nay Nay

Thankful for our Grinch date! In our opinion, beside's missing Jim Carey's voice for the Grinch, it's the best version yet! And we are full swing in the Christmas Spirit!
And thank you Costco, for having the coolest toy displays, and for a Mimi who shops there lots- so maybe Hudson's Nerf dreams will come true
Thankful for yesterday being a DAY OFF- kidfree! Matt & I were off, and we loved getting the kids off to school. Somehow making eggs ham and toast for Harrison made me feel pretty accomplished at 7am :) Gym Nails and Tanning followed! What a chill day and free coffee at Dunks made Matt's day!

Thankful for this album, when our holiday jams are getting to us ;)

Thankful for this cool idea, and for seeing it before December is actually here, so hopefully we can all spread some cheer!

Thankful for these verses... seem perfect for each day... I am horrible at verse memorization & never challenge our kiddos to do it! So... December we are ready for you! ❤

11.5.18

Thankful for dad son dates! Soccer game in the freezing cold, but those yummy fries helped keep them warm!

Last day of soccer!

Happy Halloween from Matt and his teammate Deb! Decade day for their middle school floor! Very impressed that my anti Halloween hubby dressed up so well and had FUN! Its the crazy teacher life, you gotta do what you gotta do for the kiddos!
Hooray for Papa Johns delivering to my little pumpkins!

Hooray for a beautiful day, no traffic and getting home with lots of time to Trick or Treat!
My teammate and I and our adorable Hocus Pocus I smell children shirts ;)
Harrison and our neighbor and good friend Ethan! These light up shirts were the coolest teen costume. They blinked to music and the glasses were just so fun too! It was our 1st year letting Harrison go on his own, and we all survived! the 8pm curfew might have helped, and our safe neighborhood being patrolled by sheriffs often too. Thank you Lord!
 Their Loot!
 Loved this beautiful costume choice!

Besides Hudson giving back candy that he thought had nuts, and saying "no I don't like that" to some neighbors, entering houses ready to play with other neighbors, and getting jumped on by a dog, we all survived!

Cutest Mummy on the block!

Thankful for a perfect Saturday to take family outdoor pics!

Still no coffee taste buds, but hooray for hot cocoa with extra whip!

 Love our church friends!
Thankful for this little stud's arrival! Baby Maxwell Sebastian!
Thankful that although I didn't drive the rusted beast home Monday, noone was injured in the attempting car theft, the tow truck guy was legit and drove me home, the loaner from the auto body was the #1 most stolen car ( I learned alot that night on the phone with Allstate!), so Matt got that for the next day at work ;), and the love that was shown from my amazing coworkers was awesome. Overall super annoying and kept us awake that night- but we have lots to be thankful for! Image result for thank you jesus
You can barely tell the window was pried! They are pros.

Come on November... be a good rest of the month... only 16 school days left... we got this...
