Silent Saturday

Oh how I love sipping my hot coffee in our dimly lit kitchen, watching the sunrise, in absolute silence. Today I was able to grab my groceries bright n early as well and sneak a slice of pumpkin spice cake with my hot coffee. It'll be a great day, I can tell already!  It's also here I can collect the thoughts for the day and the time solo with the Lord to listen to what He wants to share. The few minutes where I can be still and listen and type and think and reflect.

Reflecting over this past week and so excited that we made it to the weekend and in some kinda awe as well, because... well... it was THAT kind of week. But here we are. No pressing plans today, just a paper to write, a lemonade stand to pop up to entice the community yard salers,  and a last minute shopping trip to find a tie for our oldest who is nearly ready for HOCO.

Photo Dump from the end of the week at Residency... and beyond

The buffets for each meal were lavish. Since we are not eating meat, I felt justified to pile each plate as high as possible with other goodies. And of course I shared with hubs ;)

Presentation Day!!
While he flexes and gets those abs in check.
We had a great plan to bring the kids with us. We got a second room and on the 1st night, we decided, well Harrison decided he would much rather stay home, and have Lulu entertained in her domain there instead of in a hotel room. So he and she went home for 2 days ya'll! He is such an amazing big bro!

On Wednesday, we packed up after classes and we all slept at home.
Thursday was my presentation day and Harrison came to enjoy the gym and water park solo ALL day. He got a sick tan and loved the leisure time!
Gracie's school was near the resort so she joined a couple nights too!

Thursday night... they swam hard all afternoon and we decided to pack up and go home for the night all together!
Every one was exhausted

The resort was about 40 minutes from our home, so I got the best ride in on Friday morning. Our Creator continues to amaze.
Last mirror selfie! Ready to go!

And that's a wrap! One more class, then months of writing, a final residency and then I need that Dean's signature to get those 2 special letters :) DR!

Back at home...

Someone tasted chocolate and is most def a fan
Hannah the drink mixer.... two flavors or ICE ... yum and oh so pretty
Ready for our in home movie night!
I love my Fridays when I am the pick up mom! Today Lulu got to ride in the jeep!
1st timer!
Oh Nani.
Guys night out! Thankful for this crew. Their hearts are big and their golf swings are bigger!

Miles away but seemed so close! So thankful for this guy's baptism!
Our front patio is back open :) The cooler temps are here, and so are our coffee drinking friends. We love when they stop by.

Love you cowgirl.
Who knew this little love is obsessed with pumpkins!! The. cutest.

We tried the Boo Batter Ice cream at Coldstone! It was a kinda hit. The black mouths were the coolest part they say ❤
Another day another ride

So thankful for Matt's mom. She is oh so intentional on dating the kids, namely Hannah. Hannah and her have had an insanely strong bond since day 1.

And now we are caught up! Let the Saturday vibes run strong!

Love you all ! XO

Multitude Monday 10.4.2021

Thankful this week for a past week of blessings and family time. Harrison asked for less hours at work, and we were so very thankful. The times of us together as a party of 6 are few & far between lately and this sentimental momma is not ready for it... I know he is ready for real world work ... but the bubble wrapping mentality is real ya'll! So on off nights, we go to Lifetime! A family fave.

Oh and I found $16 ... flying around in the wind... in an empty spa area. I love little blessings!

I love class birthdays, and one of my favorite kiddos turned 5, so Hannah and Hudson shopped for her at $ Tree!
And he saw his name and was excited about how famous he is!
Littlest love is so tired after our drive home and loves her daddy snuggs!
I adore this girl. What a trip she is! Every Friday is spirit day, and I leave before she wakes up, so this was the best picture ever. Of course she even has purple and green sparkley eye shadow. Stay YOU forever sis.
Although Harrison was off most of the week, he had to work on Friday night, so we missed him on our double date with friends, but he was thankful to get some moola!

We love when the table height matches the stroller height!
LOVE YOU
stud.

Saturday morning was the best! We were so excited for the grand opening of our fave Blue Rooster Farm stand!

Big H and Matt had a date for a few hours, and they got all their speed lovin' energy out hard core!

Then later on that same day ( this was a record!!) they loaded everything again and met Harrison's buddies, and this time lil sis came! She can hold her own on that quad. Get it girl. It was super sweet and I will note it here forever and ever that Harrison invited Hannah to join. If you know you know. XO
The daycare pics from the week are presh. Look at this little boys face! I cant even. I wonder what adorable convo they are having!
This gem of a picture came to me from a friend in Iowa, and oh I treasure pictures of my mom!

XO
So.... Residency #2 for my studies is upon us! We brought the fam along, and Lulu tried to settle in her tent bed. Such a cuddle bug.
My problem statement which is the heart of my dissertation. Let the research begin!

Hot tub late date! Who dis!?

Have a wonderful week friends!!
